Itinerary
The northernmost village of the Cinque Terre is Monterosso, which is divided into two sides: the historic center and the “new” side called Fegina, with a pedestrian tunnel that connects the two. Monterosso is larger than the other towns and is the only one that offers beach services, making it the most visited of the Cinque Terre.
Vernazza the smallest of the Cinque Terre, and commonly known as the most fascinating with a beautiful marina and the Church of Santa Margherita d'Antiochia which stands right on the water. Here you will also see the Torre del Belforte which sits right on the harbor as a protective lighthouse for the small village.
Corniglia: lying 100 meters high on a cliff, Corniglia is the only one of the towns without a port and has a panoramic terrace from which you can see Manarola and Riomaggiore to the south and Vernazza and Monterosso to the north.
Manarola: is located at the other end of the Via del Amore and is part of the municipality of Riomaggiore. Known for its wine production, Manarola produces the only dessert wine called Sciacchetrà found only in this area.
While we continue to sail along the coast of the Cinque Terre villages, we meet Riomaggiore. With brightly colored houses built vertically on the surrounding hills, Riomaggiore is the second largest of the five towns and is widely known for excellent diving spots off its coast in the marine protected area that stretches all along the Cinque Terre. Here you will also see where the famous Via del Amore pedestrian path begins, leading to nearby Manarola.

This was a disappointing outing. While the scenery was gorgeous, the captain seemed rather disinterested. She shared only the bare minimum of information and history about the area and seemed rather disinterested. The tour was also advertised to include snorkeling. However, the only had a snorkeling mask available no snorkel and no fins. And the mask was of terrible quality. This was a big disappointment to my daughter. There was a stocked cooler but only one bottle of prosecco for 6 adults.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, as providing a welcoming and enjoyable tour is extremely important to us. We are particularly disappointed to hear your comments regarding the service on board, and we will certainly address this feedback with our team. We also apologize that the snorkeling equipment available did not meet your expectations. Our tours include snorkeling masks for guests to use during the swimming stop, although fins are not provided, and we will review how this is communicated to ensure it is clear to future guests. Regarding the drinks, our cooler is stocked with a selection of beverages, including local wine, beer, water, and soft drinks, rather than unlimited prosecco specifically. Nevertheless, we appreciate your feedback and will use it to continue improving the experience we offer. We’re sorry that, despite the beautiful scenery, the tour did not leave you with the positive experience we always hope to provide our guests.
Sara was a great tour guide/captain of the boat! She told us about the unique history of each town in Cinque Terre. The pesto and focaccia were delicious. The view of the towns and mountains from the sea was beautiful! We got to swim in the sea and it was probably one of the most incredible experiences in my life! Definitely worth it!
Wonderful evening with Sara our skipper - relaxing trip south to see each of the 5 towns and then back to Monterosso for sunset. We were fortunate to be the only two on the trip - so it was like a private charter - and this made it even more special. Thoroughly recommended!
We had a great time with Sara as our tour guide. She showed us all the cities of the Cinque Terre, explained the history, allowed us to swim for a long time, played great music and served us amazing food and drinks. Definitely would recommend.
The best views of the beautiful landscape and villages. Additionally, an incredible sunset. The 90 € initially seemed like a lot to us, but it was definitely worth it!
Best tour we did on our honeymoon in Italy! What an excellent time Simon gave us! We lucked out and had only 4 people on the tour instead of the max 6, so the boat felt extra spacious and comfy, but even at 6 people it would've been an awesome ride. You get to see all the towns, hear a bit about them, that pics, swim, snorkel, eat, drink, and enjoy. What more could you ask for? And that sunset on the way back? Awesome. Plus, greatest of all, this ride is Short! At just 2 hours, this was a perfect tour to cap a long day.
During our stay in cinque terre a storm came in that derailed our original plans for the boat tour. They were able to have the foresight to give us other time slots before the storm came in and in a different location that was less windy and with calmer seas. Sara was our tour guide and she was great! She gave lots of history, good music, and a nice relaxing vibe. We are so grateful we got to have this experience!
We had such a wonderful time enjoying the sea, views and treats. This was a great tour with only 6 people and a great captain.
Very pleasant excursion in the company of Simone, very friendly and professional (the pesto that offers accompanied by focaccia is a culinary lust). Great to see all 5 terre.Paesaggi breathtaking. Possibility to swim offshore in the midst of many fish, really beautiful sea. It deserves absolutely, especially at sunset.
It is a must do trip to see all villages from the sea. Tour is well organized that they contact one day before the tour on whats up. Simone is a great guide and captain as he shares a lot of info in a fun way. There is a swim stop at the end which is nice in open water with plenty of fish around.
