2 Days and 1 Night Halong Bay Luxury Genesis Regal Cruises

Our experience on the Genesis Regal Cruise was absolutely top-notch. From the get-go, the transit to the port was seamless, and the high-speed boat transfer to the cruise was a breeze. Our guide was fantastic, sharing a wealth of local knowledge about the culture of Vietnam and Halong Bay as we got settled in. The real icing on the cake, however, was the dining. As a strict vegan, I was naturally a bit apprehensive about the food, but I was blown away by how much care the restaurant staff took to accommodate me. From that very first welcome meal right through the entire voyage, the service was impeccable. The activities were a total blast-we particularly loved the kayaking and the spring roll making classes. The accommodations also exceeded expectations, the rooms were incredibly spacious, and soaking in the bathtub while looking out at the mountains and sea was a highlight. The interior design and the overall vibe of the ship were stunning. It was definitely a trip to remember and worth every minute!

Everything lived up to expectations. The rooms are as pictured at booking.com, the people are friendly and it is a wonderful trip. Each room has a balcony and so you sail through the bay. The food is good, the breakfast a little bit little choice but 2 hours later there is a brunch that makes everything right. For this price you get great value for money

So organised from the limousine pickup, the check in and the warm welcome when you arrive at the ship from the captain and the team. The room was so well prepared, clean and tidy. Good selection of pillows to aid a restful night. Trips and food excellent with special mention for Lee and Ann who made our 2 days much more special. Only tip would be make enough time to enjoy the facilities in your room. Wonderful views from the bath and veranda. Highly recommend this company.

Top experience under all fronts, it is not easy to extricate yourself in the choice of cruises at Ha Long, but after seeing the other boats in person we can say that this is really excellent, small enough to give the right relaxation, at the table you are fine each with its own table high-level food service with dishes and not buffet (we also had lobster at dinner), excellent check in service on land, excellent tender that takes you by ship (on average they are all very old and run down, here instead they are perfect), excellent room very well maintained, all with private balcony and with renovated bathroom with double choice between shower and fantastic retro style bath right at the foot of the large window. Splendid and unforgettable experience

The schedule is rigid and the process is efficient, although it sometimes felt like a conveyor belt of passengers. We watched the earlier guests be herded off of the boat and we were herded on shortly after. The food was exceptional and the staff were accommodating of any additional requests (including a last-minute menu swap). The activities were enjoyable, although the best part was the fact that they were optional and you could choose to lounge on the boat instead of participating! The boat looked a little tired and in need of a renovation (for example, the wood on the outside deck is chipped and weathered). The rooms were nice, although the couple staying in the room next door argued and we could hear every word loud and clear! Finally, beware of the merchants on the motor boats who will harass you while you're sitting on your balcony - you need to tell them no multiple times before they drive away and do not buy from them under any circumstances. Overall, we felt as though one night were enough, and we would not book this experience again.

Spectacular!! It met all our expectations, and the room is a fantasy. Super friendly staff. The beautiful bay!! It was my husband's birthday and at dinner they brought him a cake and sang to him. Attention when booking very well!! They solved all my doubts before I went. I highly recommend it.

Not really luxury! The ship has come of age and it is urgently necessary to renovate, the food is ok but the portions served unfortunately a bit frugal, only when checking out there was buffet to eat! Staff is very friendly and endeavoured. Attention: when paying by card, a whopping 4% will be added, although according to the booking credit card payment is indicated. Really uncomfortable and discussion is pointless!

Our Genesis Regal Cruise was truly one of the best experiences of our lives. The views were breathtaking, and the daily schedule was perfectly balanced — never a dull moment, yet never too rushed. The food and cocktails were top class, and the service was simply outstanding. A special thanks to Jessica, who was incredibly attentive and professional. We’re a family of three (2+1), and the way she cared for our child and made us feel welcome was truly impressive. Everything about this cruise exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Ha Long Bay!

The experience is amazing. The ship's facilities are very well maintained, and the photos are realistic even if they appear false. The views are amazing, although it is true that you are surrounded by many more boats of the same style. I put three stars and not five because we warned that it was our honeymoon and contrary to what we read everywhere, they had no detail, chance that we are two women.
