This is the meeting point for the tour. Guests will meet their tour guide outside Six Feet Under restaurant, directly across from Oakland Cemetery, and head around the corner for the introduction to the tour. Street parking nearby is encouraged. Then, enjoy incredible shrimp and grits and fried catfish and okra with a cucumber wasabi soy sauce at Grant Park's most popular restaurant and one of the city's top seafood spots. The patio is legendary with stunning views of both the city and the cemetery and guests will be seated in their bubbles at separate outdoor tables.
Discover Victorian houses and learn history of the city on our way to Oakland Cemetery. This does not go to the park in Grant Park neighborhood.
Discover the early notables of Atlanta, now the residents of Oakland Cemetery, and how food impacted the growth of the city during this 40 minute guided tour of Oakland. Your ticket price includes a donation to the Historic Oakland Foundation, dedicated to preserving the historic cemetery.
Compare a modern take on a popular dish early Atlantans would have eaten and a modern pizza dish! You'll also enjoy a cocktail sample from a local distillery. Firepit Pizza Tavern is owned by Leslie Cohen, who won Cutthroat Kitchen.
Try two to-go desserts from this James Beard nominated bakery, which is heavily involved in the local community and dedicated to improving the working conditions of the food service industry.

Kristin is a great tour guide, learned about the history of food, cemetery and Atlanta. We had laughs and great food.
Arielle was so amazing. She brought so much energy and knowledge to this tour. I learned so much about Atlanta. What I loved most was that she was so balanced. She knew just the right amount of information to give to not make it seem overwhelming. The food choices were good as well. The first place (Six Feet Under) was the all star. The second place was meh by comparison and the dessert option was delicious. She then recommended activities we could do after which was right on the money.
Kristin was our tour guide, and she was absolutely wonderful. She made the history sound interesting and fun, and brought us to wonderful food spots such as Six Feet Under, Little Tart, and Fire Pit. Truly was an exciting experience, 10/10 would recommend.
