12 days Luxury Tanzania Honeymoon Safari and Zanzibar

We had a fantastic honeymoon experience with Lion King Adventures. The booking team was very responsive and happy to adjust the itinerary to accommodate our requests. Our guide Murshid was exceptionally knowledgeable and well connected, helping us to avoid crowds and get great views of all the animals. Each of the 4 parks we visited offered a unique experience - we enjoyed Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater the best. Overall, we found the experience with Lion King to be very well executed and professional - and also very fun and memorable.

Everything about this trip has been incredible and all thanks to everyone we dealt with from the amazing team at Lion King Adventures. From the very beginning of planing the trip with Florida, everything was professional and informative and very detailed. They kept in touch along the way and ensured we had everything we needed in preparation of our trip from extra activities to guidelines on packing and cultural norms. As for the actual safari - it was amazing. Our guide Murshid was fantastic. Full of information on all the animals we encountered and areas we drove through. Always made sure we got the best views of the animals while respecting their space and that of the other tour groups. As we were on our honeymoon, the team also made sure the lodges we stayed at knew and they were all so welcoming and friendly. While the accommodations themselves were a great selection, the staff at each location really made our trip. Highly recommend Murshid and Lion King if you’re looking to do a Tanzania and Zanzibar trip!

An unforgettable experience, our guide Freddie gave us the most memorable honeymoon experience. We travelled through Tangerie Park, Ngorongoro crater, Serengeti National Park. We covered the big 5 & even more over the course of 7 days in Tanzania, onwards we went to Zanzibar to relax. Florida helped us plan & gave us all the information needed. Best experience/holiday of my entire life. We booked this for our honeymoon and put all our trust in lion king and I’m so glad we did. The BEST accommodation, best route, and the BEST TOUR GUIDE EVER!! Mkwanda was our tour guide for 6 days and I will think about him fondly for my entire life. He was incredible throughout. He had so much knowledge on the area, animals, history, culture. Answered all our daft questions. Worked endlessly to make us happy and got us to see the big 5. Everything has come so smoothly for the past two weeks. All the accommodation was incredible but the staff/tamzanian people will make your holiday they all went above and beyond for us and I will always be thankful for that. I will be recommending to everyone I know and would come back again in a heartbeat.

We really enjoyed our trip and our driver Fred Elias was super and his eyesight was unbelievable as he can spot animals very far away. He made our trip very exciting and enjoyable. We have enjoyed all the accommodation and the food was excellent.

We had the most amazing time on safari getting to see the big 5 and so many other animals in all the different sceneries that the northern circuit has to offer. Clement was the best guide you could ask for! Knowledgeable funny attentive and indulged us in all the things we hoped to see and sharing in the wonder with us. Highly Recommend! This tour had everything! Our Guide Clement was awesome and made sure he did everything he could to get us the BIG 5, which we did!! Doing the private tour meant we could custom pick what we did and when which just added to the experience! Hotels were exceptional and the staff and people everywhere we went were the nicest people ever!! 5 stars!!

Our honeymoon trip through Tanzania was incredible. With stops at Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro we were lucky enough to see the whole Big 5 with the help of our game driver Clemont. He was very knowledgeable about all of the animals we saw and even went out of his way on our last day in the Serengeti to find us some lions and cheetahs before heading back to our hotel. We also felt very safe with him on the tricky roads. We could not recommend Clemont and Lion King Safaris enough!

We had an incredible experience with Lion King Adventures. From start to finish, everything was well organized, professional, and truly memorable. The team made the entire trip feel smooth and stress-free, and every detail was handled with care. Our tour guide, Oswald, was amazing. He was knowledgeable, patient, kind, and made the safari experience even better. He knew exactly where to go, explained so much about the animals and the landscapes, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the trip. You can tell he really cares about giving guests the best possible experience. The safari itself was unforgettable. We saw incredible wildlife, beautiful scenery, and had so many once-in-a-lifetime moments. I would highly recommend Lion King Adventures to anyone visiting Tanzania, and we are especially grateful to Oswald for making our trip so special.

I need to start by saying my guide honestly made this trip memorable. He’s so personable and passionate with his work, it made this experience so much better. Ask for Suleiman if you’re going to book. This was my first safari and I can say it’s met all my expectations! From the visiting beautiful landscapes, locating the majestic animals, down to expert level knowledge on the animals provided by our guide. Me and my wife booked this as our honeymoon destination and everything went perfectly! The lion king team took care of all the planning, the transportation, the food, and checked off all the experiences. They were very punctual and respectful. They met all our needs and even made sure all the food met our dietary requirements. (They notified the hotels/lodges). Overall, I’d highly recommend going with this group. Ask for Suleiman!
