Arriving at the Fly Australia Passenger lounge you will be met by your local experienced pilot who will fill you in on the tour ahead. We will board the aircraft and take off for our tour over the beautiful Whitsundays and Great Barrier Reef. Remember to bring your camera, there will be unlimited photo opportunities!
The Whitsundays Scenic Flight takes you over some of Australia's most iconic and beautiful landscapes including the World Heritage Great Barrier Reef & breathtaking islands of the Whitsundays. You will enjoy panoramic sights from the comfort of our seat in our specially designed scenic flight aircraft. This is a must do!
The Heart of the Reef! Your pilot will make gentle turns around the magical Heart Reef to ensure all on board have time to capture that perfect shot and take in the iconic sights below.
Pass overhead the beautiful swirling sands and Crystal blue waters of Hill Inlet, your pilot will make two passes of this iconic Whitsundays location to ensure all passengers have a great view and time to take in the Beauty.
During the flight we will spend time at the Great Barrier Reef, flying at low level you will see amazing sights below. Often marine life is spotted including whales, Manta rays and sharks. Your pilot again will make multiple passes of the Reef to ensure all enjoy amazing views and have time to take in the sights below of this natural wonder of the world. The Great Barrier Reef!

If you determine that you are unfit to go on the scenic flight and notify us before 24 hours of the scenic flight departure time we will be able to provide a change a date or refund.

I was very disappointed about the experience as Fly Australia states that everyone will have a good view. Well I didn't, and when I addressed this afterward I only got the reply "we can't do anything about this" and " we never had this complaint before". They should give people on this seat a big discount, because the view is sh#t. I payed good money for what was to be one of the highlights of my visit to the Whitsundays. Got on the plane with my camera to make some great shots. But ended up with almost none. Luckily my daughter of 13 was able to make some nice shots with her phone, but that's not dslr quality. Why is this a bad spot? Because your window for looking outside and making photographs only start from your shoulder back. You can only see the forward view through the window of the passenger in front of you. Taking pictures of the things you see through this window is almost impossible because your window is basically behind you. So you can't realy see what you are making a picture of. So if you get appointed this seat, be aware that this is not the seat for a great forward view. And making decent pictures is not possible from this seat. The picture is an honest representation of what you see in this seat. When booking and informing the people at Fly Australia were nice. And this would definitely have been a 5 star review if not for this seat. Fly Australia should inform people before the flight about this seat and the limited view from this seat. And I am also disappointed about how my complaint was (not) handeled.

It is amazing to see Whitehaven Beach and the Great Barrier Reef from the sky. The view from the plan is amazing and the pilot is so good with commentary and making sure all passengers get the best views. We then visited both Whitehaven and the Reef the next day and it was great to experience both from the sky and the land. Highly recommend this experience
Sublime experience, even unforgettable. A translation is missing because the Australian English in the headset is very difficult for me to understand. But it is a very beautiful experience nonetheless.
My seat was on the left by the window, and the reflection was terrible throughout the entire trip. The first two rows on the right were all female passengers. Being stuck in the back row was bad enough, but they put me on the far left of it. Most of the scenery was on the right. It was completely not worth the price. The staff member in charge of seating in the back was Indian, and he assigned seats on the right to male passengers who were also Indian. While assigning me a bad seat, he even told me it was a good one. Is he expecting me to be grateful to him while deliberately giving me a terrible seat?

Great experience worth every cent and minute spent up there! I'm so glad I did it. Booking, communication, pick up etc were clear and smooth. The staff is exactly friendly, and our pilot Adam was just the best. I had a wonderful time up in the air on my bday! :))
