Bruce Belcher’s Daintree River Cruises offer a one-hour wild life cruise. We are enthusiastic, honest, exciting and informative. We are keen bird watchers and have a good eye for crocodiles and tree snakes, with crocodiles being spotted on 98% of trips, particularly in cooler months. We don't provide Daintree bird watching tours however the native bird life in the Daintree is abundant.

A short informative trip out on the Daintree River with knowledgeable Graham as our guide. Gave an interesting commentary about the River Hibiscus and then took us further down to seek out some crocodiles. We were lucky enough to float alongside the dominant male, known as Scarface, we then saw his future rival and a couple of younger babies.
Good value, we had complimentary lunch with our cruise. Chris was our skipper and he was very informative and was a great host.
Great tour that is worth every cent. The location alone is fantastic - a very lovingly and elaborately furnished tropical lodge, where you can get a delicious coffee before the trip (in our case at 8:30 a.m.). Arriving early is worth it to look around and enjoy! The tour itself: Cool, super relaxed, and funny guide who obviously knows every crocodile here personally and can report on their habits. Besides many crocodiles of every size, he also discovered a kingfisher and a large, perfectly camouflaged snake for us. Awesome! Highly recommended
This was a short but very impressive experience on the river. The whole excursion took about an hour and there wasn’t one dull moment in it. Our guide knew his stuff and provided heaps of very interesting information. Of all the things we did in one week staying at Port Douglas, this one was the best value for money for sure. Very happy!

It was ok but for the price it wasn’t worth it. There are so many similar tours happening around the area it probably isn’t necessary to book in advance unless you have a large group or tight schedule. The tour guide was knowledgeable and tried to make up for the very limited croc sightings

This is the one to do; excellent facilities, service, and tour guide authentic commentary from a local perspective. Salty in every way! And crocs! 7-8 close up including a 5month old baby… The coffee and sausage roll topped off a great experience. John and Rachel, Christchurch NZ.
