well organised and cheerful knowledgable guides make travel a fun and less tiring and enjoyable ....
An agency with excellent professional service. Punctual, helpful with good cost benefit. Our guide, SR Son communicated very well, a perfect English which helped a lot during the tour. Extremely attentive and dynamic. Super recommend!!!
Melody and the team gave a wonderful hospitality, looking forward to to travelling with them again in the future , super experience
Incredible scenery! The boat is large and comfortable with a covered deck on the first floor, where you can relax with a cold beer and the wind in your hair. Our tour guide Melody was exceptional, keeping enthusiasm high and making sure we were comfortable the entire time. She also patiently helped each and every person with photos and made sure vegan/vegetarian options were available for those that wanted it. Water is available only in cans, and is somewhat expensive. Have to carry a reusable bottle with water as single use plastics are not allowed.
Lunch cruise, Ti ToP island tour, boat activities, Sung Sot Cave tour, it was a lot of fun in a limited time. It was perfect for my first trip to Ha Long Bay. On the other hand, it may not be suitable for people who want to relax.
Thank for the beautiful day in Halong bay with so much fun, i had good shuttle bus pick us from Hanoi at 8am and reach halong by 11:30am. Had delicious lunch on cruise with friendly staff, and very knowledgeable tour guide Tiger. Beach is clean and cave is very good view.
We had an amazing experience. Our guide Mr Son was really funny and kind. overall the tour was really fun, thank you for providing this experience.
Really nice and well organized trip. Mr. Son was a fantastic guide, he explained to us in a clear and passionate way the history of halong bay.
Overall good trip. Our guide Mr Luca was prompt, spoke good English, courteous. The whole trip could be optimized such that the travel time from Hanoi to pier and vice versa is reduced and extra time.utilized during the trip. Both speed boat and bamboo boat is NOT worth the price charged. An alternative could be the vietnamese boat which was shown in some of the websites. Bamboo boat could be scrapped completely.
I booked a Star Cruise trip from Singapore to Phuket and back in May 2025. The ship was the Star Voyager. Ship was old though quite well maintained. I had booked a balcony cabin and expected it to be fairly comfortable. However the bed was actually a large fold out sofa bed with a hard wire frame. It had been padded fairly well with several layers of mattress protectors but it was still very hard to sleep on. Worse, the bed was not fully flat. The Bed head end was tilted up at an angle & I just couldn’t get it to lie flat. It was impossible to sleep with our heads at an angle & we resorted to sleeping with our heads at the foot of the bed instead. The balcony door handle on the exterior was rusted & had come loose at one end. Worse was the arrival time at Phuket. It was about 1600 hrs Phuket time. By the time the ferries were arranged and crowd control for the boarding was carried out it was about 1740 hrs Phuket time. So far all the minor niggles were tolerable. However I found out that instead of anchoring the ship off Patong Beach- which many other cruise lines do, Star Cruises had arranged to anchor off the Thai Customs jetty on the South Eastern corner of Phuket. Patong Beach is at the Western coastline of Phuket. Google Maps showed the distance from this Customs Jetty to Patong Beach to be 22km and between 44-50 mins by road. The taxi drivers were quoting THB 2500/- to drive us to Patong & THB 2000/- to get us to Phuket Town-20 mins away. Also because of the hour and rain, it was estimated to be 1 hr 30 mins to get to Patong Beach & another 1.5 hours to get back. I was so upset with this dumb decision that I turned right back onto the ferry to get back onboard. Phuket was the only stopover on this cruise and it was far far from Pating Beach with the food drink & nightlife. Who the heck benefitted from this stupid decision? It certainly was NOT the hundreds of holiday makers who wanted to visit Phuket. We were way out in the boondocks & were all set to be gouged for transport to and from the tourist hotspots of Phuket. I will ever again go on a Star Cruise to Phuket if this really dumb arrangement persists.
