As your journey continues, you’ll ascend to the imposing Citadel of Salah Al-Din, a medieval Islamic fortress that offers panoramic views of Cairo. Explore the historical significance of this fortress, its architecture, and its role in shaping Egypt’s history. Within the Citadel, you’ll encounter the magnificent Mosque of Muhammad Ali, often referred to as the Alabaster Mosque due to its stunning white marble exterior. Step inside this architectural marvel, adorned with intricate details and impressive domes.
